I am a community practical herbalist. I have a BS degree in Psychology and Chemistry, with graduate coursework in developmental psychology and tests & measurements. I have been working with herbs in a practical way for about 20 years or so. My training is from personal research and practice with my own family and friends, in a large communal living situation, as a lay midwife/doula, workshops with other herbalists and seminars through New Hope Media, United Plant Savers, and other professional organizations, and most importantly my customers in my herb business, now in its twelfth year of being established. I am continually learning new herbal treatments from the hundreds of customers who come through my doors every day, week, month and year.
